The project is a Design-Bid-Build (D-B-B) effort to construct a perimeter security fence. This project's scope is to construct the needed force protection for the three camps of US and Kuwaiti forces, namely, Camp Arifjan 15th and 94th brigades. The new force protection is constructed along with the existing fence in camp Arifjan and continues until brigades 94th and 15th are enclosed. The total length of the fencing is more than 18 kilometres, with five double swing gates. The total length of the fence is divided into two segments/alignment from A to B, with alignment A having the longest section of 15010 meters and alignment B with a length of 3346 meters. Part of the scope is an existing berm removal with approximately 16,000 cubic meters of volume scattered near and within the new perimeter fence location.
