Qualifications
& Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum [3-5] years of experience in quality control within the civil engineering
Prior Experience working with USACE Preffered
Strong knowledge of construction practices, testing standards, and civil engineering materials
Experience in preparing and maintaining QA/QC documentation and reports.
Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and other QA/QC software tools.
Key
Responsibilities
Review construction drawings, technical specifications, and contract documents to ensure alignment with project quality requirements.
Conduct inspections of civil works including excavation, backfilling, formwork, rebar installation, concrete pouring, masonry, waterproofing, and finishing works.
Prepare and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and method statements for all civil activities.
Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved quality control procedures.
Verify materials and ensure compliance with approved material submittals and test certificates.
Issue and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and coordinate corrective/preventive actions.
Maintain proper documentation such as Inspection Requests (IRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), test reports, and as-built drawings.
Coordinate with site teams, consultants, subcontractors, and third-party laboratories to resolve quality issues.
Participate in internal and external audits, including compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
Ensure that work is carried out safely and complies with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
