ARMENIA - QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER

 

 

 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the overall management of quality control of this project and will have the authority to act in all quality control matters for the Contractor.
  • Responsible for quality control for site from project award until completion including, but not limted to, preparation of submittals, organization, set-up of QC department, construction supervision and quality control, close-out, etc...
  • Establish and maintain an effective quality control system in compliance with the project's technical requirements. The quality control system shall consist of plans, procedures and organization necessary to produce a product which complies with the project requirements. The system shall cover all construction operations, both onsite and offsite, and shall be keyed to the proposed construction sequence.
  • Inspects field activities.
  • Issues noncompliance findings.
  • Implements immediate corrective action for deficiencies.
  • Conducts and documents the 3 phase process.
  • Attends and takes minutes of the Coordination & Mutual Understanding Meeting with the client.
  • Attends and take minutes of QC Meetings with the client.
  • Chair and minute QC meeting with MVL Staff, Subcontractors and suppliers
  • Enforces compliance with the project CQCP.
  • Enforces correction of non-compliance work.
  • Directly responsible for all industry standards, codes and manufactures guidelines for each specific area of construction where responsibility is assigned.
  • Permanently documents and records all field inspections and corresponding follow up reports.
  • Provides evidence to government that inspections meet contract requirements and pass all codes specifications of applicable governing code.
  • Ensures that product or equipment installed meets manufacturers recommended installation procedure.
  • Maintains and controls all construction activity reporting, including any delays or loss work time, weather events; and labor and equipment usage rates.
  • Maintain RFI and correspondence log in system and answers government requests for information.
  • Provides all necessary documentation to the client as required by contract.
  • Maintains a neat and orderly file and administrative office system for document control
  • Liaise with Client Representative on all quality & technical matters

 

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

 

  • Experience working with the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and Naval Facilities Command (NAVFAC).
