We are seeking a candidate for Alternate Quality Manager role who has a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing and supervising Department of Defense construction projects of similar size($50Million & above) and scope.
This position requires relocation to Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands where housing is provided and likely includes future relocations to other Pacific island locations.

What we are looking for
- Bachelors in engineering, architect or a Construction Managementfrom accredited university.
- Minimum (3) years’ experience as Quality Control Manager of Department of Defense construction projects of similar size ($50Million and above) and scope
- Candidate must have experience in the areas of hazard identification and safety compliance. Experience on HZID, etc. Knowledge of EM 385-1-1 US army safety Manual is an advantage.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and implement comprehensive quality control plans and procedures in accordance with USACE requirements and contract specifications.
- Prepare and maintain Quality Control Program documentation, including inspection and testing plans, checklists, and reports.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests of construction activities, materials, and workmanship to verify compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Coordinate with independent testing agencies and laboratories as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities.
- Prepare and submit quality control reports, including non-compliance reports and corrective action plans, to project management and USACE representatives.
- Identify and address quality issues promptly, working with project teams to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence.
- Ensure that all work complies with USACE standards, building codes, and industry regulations.
- Identify potential quality risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring project objectives are met.
- Assist the Project Manager in developing and implementing project schedules and being proactive by flagging out quality control requirement ahead of time to allow the execution team ample time to plan ahead & comply
