We are seeking a candidate for Project Manager role who has a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing and supervising Department of Defense construction projects.

What we are looking for:
- B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or other relevant degree with commensurate professional experience.
- The individual must be familiar with the requirements of EM 385-1-1 and have experience in the areas of hazard identification and safety compliance.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
What You’ll Do:
- Responsible for the overall management and coordination of this contract, serving as the central point of contact with the Government for all work performance, including warranty, alongside the Project Director (PD).
- Assist the PD by overseeing construction progress, administering instructions, and addressing questions from the Contracting Officer throughout the contract’s duration, including the warranty period.
- Any commitments affecting time and/or cost with the client require prior approval from the PD and/or Executive Vice President (EVP) according to the company’s internal authority matrix.
- Ensure complete coordination of all work under this contract.
- Ensure adequate internal controls and review procedures to prevent conflicts, errors, and omissions, and to meet all technical requirements.
- Act as the primary contact for procedural, substantive, and technical aspects of contract performance, including management requirements such as procurement, personnel, reporting, and financial administration.
- Ensure consistent and transparent implementation of MVL’s quality control manual, safety policy, and cost control methods across all contracted tasks and functions.
- Administer the contract by identifying and resolving performance, delivery, cost, or schedule issues, coordinating with MVL Head Office Contracts department to meet client satisfaction.
- Foster effective client relationships at the country of deployment level, and draft contractual correspondence for final review and issuance by Head Office.
- Assist in identifying contract changes and ensuring proper contractual coverage, maintaining corporate contract files.
- Ensure timely contract progress and close-outs by maintaining the approved schedule and requesting resources in advance to prevent delays.
- Ensure job site conditions comply with contract requirements.
- Monitor and control subcontractor performance to achieve the program/project objectives of safe, timely, and quality completion within budget. Subcontract administration will be coordinated with MVL Head Office Contracts and Planning departments on delivery issues.
- Support company financial initiatives, including profitability, risk mitigation, unbilled revenue reduction, and receivables tracking.
