We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager who will be responsible for maintaining strict quality control protocols throughout the project’s design and construction phases.

Project DetailsProject is a Design-Bid-Build (DBB) project that involves the comprehensive repair and restoration of the Beirut Naval Base.

What we are looking for:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Quality Control within the construction or infrastructure sector.
  • Proven experience managing quality control on large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably in a military or naval setting.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Create and oversee the Project Quality Control Plan to ensure all construction activities meet the specified standards and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with the design and project management teams to incorporate quality control standards from the project outset.
  • Ensure the Quality Control Plan aligns with local regulations, client specifications, and international standards.
  • Perform regular inspections of materials used in the construction to verify compliance with approved standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of all inspection reports, tests, and non-compliance issues.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on project quality to project management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all documentation is in order for final project closeout and handover.
  • Identify and document non-conformance issues during the construction process.
  • Work with project teams to determine the root cause of quality defects or issues.
  • Implement and track corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence of issues.
  • Act as the primary liaison between contractors and the client to ensure all quality standards are met.
  • Work closely with contractors to resolve any quality-related issues during construction.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by meeting or exceeding quality expectations throughout the project.
  • Coordinate and prepare for external quality audits conducted by regulatory bodies or clients.
  • Ensure all documentation and records are complete and available for review during audits
  • Ensure all quality control activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Oversee the work of subcontractors to ensure their work meets the quality standards set forth in the project
