GREECE - QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER

We are currently seeking a Quality Control Manager to join our team in Greece.

Must be fluent in Greek and English. 

NAVFAC experience is preferred.

Job responsibilities: 

• Prepare and execute the Quality Control Plan for all project deliverables, materials, and workmanship
• Plan and coordinate all testing for materials and workmanship.
• Develop the DEFINABLE features of work and oversee the 3-Phase Inspection Process
• Supervise workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure effectiveness and high technical accuracy
• Formulate, document and maintain quality control standards and on-going quality control objectives
• Manage the submittal process to include reviewing submittals, maintaining the submittal register and assisting with commissioning plan and execution
• Check material, design, shop and as-built drawings
• May be required to manage a team of Quality Control Inspectors or supervisors.
• Other duties as assigned by the Operations or Program Managers
• Works for the Operations Manager (i.e., the MVL home office team); works with the Project Manager (PM), Project team, and the client (i.e., he or she does not work for/report to the PM)
• On site at all times during construction, unless a designated substitute is identified and approved.
