Mechanical Superintendent - INDO- PACIFIC REGION

We are seeking a Mechanical Superintendent to oversee all mechanical systems' installation, commissioning, and quality control. This includes HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and specialty medical systems (for clinics), as well as building mechanical systems required in air traffic control and terminal buildings. The position requires strict adherence to USACE specifications, UFGS standards, and compliance with UFC codes
This position requires relocation to Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands where housing is provided and likely includes future relocations to other Pacific island locations.

What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent relevant training + experience are preferred.
- Certification in construction management or related disciplines is a plus.
- Minimum 7-10 years in mechanical systems for large-scale projects, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
- Prior experience with USACE projects is highly desirable
What You’ll Do:
- Planning and Coordination:
- Develop and implement schedules for mechanical installations.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and the project team to ensure timely execution.
- Attend weekly progress and coordination meetings.
- Site Supervision:
- Oversee the installation of mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with design drawings and specifications.
- Conduct inspections and testing to meet USACE and other regulatory standards.
- Enforce safety protocols per OSHA and EM 385-1-1 standards.
- Technical Expertise:
- Review mechanical designs, submittals, and RFIs to ensure constructability.
- Provide solutions for field-related challenges in mechanical system installations.
- Oversee commissioning and performance verification of all mechanical systems.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, inspection records, and as-built drawings.
- Support the Quality Control Manager in compliance verification.
- Leadership:
- Lead a team of mechanical foremen, technicians, and subcontractors.
- Conduct training and ensure staff compliance with project standards.
