Project Engineer - INDO PACIFIC REGION

We are seeking a Project Engineer  supporting the Medical Clinic Project, Kwajalein atoll, RMI at site and reporting to VP Projects

This position requires relocation to Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands where housing is provided and likely includes future relocations to other Pacific island locations.

What we are looking for: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent relevant training + experience are preferred.
  • Certification in construction management or related disciplines is a plus.
  • Minimum 7-10 years in mechanical systems for large-scale projects, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
  • Prior experience with USACE projects is highly desirable

 

What You’ll Do:

1. Technical and Engineering Support

2. Developing supplier/subcontractor technical work statements.

3. Evaluating technical specifications, drawings and project requirements to ensure compliance

4. Procurement technical review.

5. Support Sr. Project Manager (SPM) at site with all tasks assigned to him by SPM

6. Multi-tasking and coordination with various team members (e.g., site staff, office staff, subcontractors and management)

7. Interface and liaise with construction managers, QC managers and subcontractors as required.

8. Monitor the site progress daily and evaluate the current situation and the recommended changes to improve the efficiency on procedure and methods.

9. Assists in implementation of Project Execution Plan (PEP)

10. Attends the Weekly Progress Meetings (Internal as well as with Client) and assist

in preparation of Minutes Of Meetings.

11. Monitors work in progress and prepares weekly report of the status of each assignment.

12. Ensuring all approved procedures are followed

13. Coordinates materials and assists in the logistics, its shipment and receipt at construction site.

14. Coordinates with all project related personnel (onsite and off-site) on day-today progress of work activities, procurement and operations to ensure timely completion of the project.

15. Provide full support as required by the Management and PMT for all projects

 

16. Assist SPM and Site Superintendent with managing resources (manpower, equipment, tools and meterials)
