Technical Electrical Engineer - Indo Pacific Region

 We are looking for a Technical Electrical Engineer  who will be responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, components, and equipment. This role involves providing technical expertise, ensuring project compliance with industry standards, and supporting various phases of electrical engineering projects.

This position requires relocation to Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands where housing is provided and likely includes future relocations to other Pacific island locations.

What we are looking for: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, PLC Programming, or IEEE Membership) are a plus.
  • Proficient in electrical design software and simulation tools.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety codes (e.g., NEC, IEC).

  • Key Responsibilities:

    1. Technical and Engineering Support to ongoing active projects in all assigned projects and regions.

    2. Developing supplier/subcontractor technical work statements.

    3. Evaluating technical specifications, drawings and project requirements to ensure compliance

    4.  Bid preparation technical support.

    5.   Procurement technical review.

    6.   Preparing Technical Narrative and description for Request for Quotations in support of procurement department.

    7.  Preparing shop drawings and submittals.

    8.  Support site personnel with start-up and training of material & systems.

    9.  Identify any logistics requirements and communicate the same to logistics department.

    10.  multi-tasking and coordination with various team members (e.g., site staff, office staff, subcontractors and management)

    11. Interface and liaise with project managers, construction managers, QC managers and subcontractors as required.

    12. Monitor the site progress and evaluate the current situation and the recommended changes to improve the efficiency on procedure and methods.

    13.  Assist the EVP Projects, Technical Manager and Projects Teams with the resolution of engineering issues and determination of technical solutions.

    14. Review engineering & technical documents i.e. drawings, specifications and requisitions.

    15. Interpret designs drawings and specifications and provides technical advice to construction department and QA/QC department explaining requirements of engineering and design specifications consistent with good construction practice.

    16.  Answer the queries raised by construction personnel to support construction program.

    17.  Support Site Teams and Coordinate turnover procedure efforts among all parties concerned, including compilation of the documents required for facilities turnover to the client
