We are looking for a Alternate Project Site Superintendent who must have a minimum of 5 years combined experience as a project manager, superintendent, QC Manager, construction manager, or inspector on projects similar in size, scope, and complexity to construction contracts, including the major trades that are part of this contract, and at least two years of experience as a Superintendent.
Project Details: This is a design-build (DB) project to provide complete design and construction of a new UFC-compliant single-story 15m x 34m Command and Control Facility/Interagency Fusion Centre (C2 Fusion Centre). This facility will include a lighting system, air-conditioning units, ceiling fans, overhead audio/visual connections and accessories, electrical/LAN line/phone wall outlets, windows, doors, fire safety features, latrines, septic system, connection to shore power source with exterior electrical connection station and transfer switches,

What we are looking for:
· A graduate of four four-year accredited college or university programs in one of the disciplines: Engineering, Architecture Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Building Construction, or Building Science.
· · Key Responsibilities:
· Oversee daily on-site construction activities and progress.
· Ensure project execution aligns with design-build specifications and UFC standards.
· Supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and labor workforce.
· Maintain construction schedule and ensure milestones are met.
· Enforce compliance with OSHA, local labor laws, and military construction standards.
· Conduct daily toolbox talks and enforce proper PPE usage.
· Implement and oversee site safety programs, risk assessments, and incident reporting.
· Ensure adherence to environmental and security protocols.
· Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets quality standards and contract requirements.
· Identify and resolve construction issues or non-compliance items.
· Coordinate with Quality Assurance (QA) and third-party inspectors.
· Act as the primary point of contact between field teams, engineers, and project managers.
· Hold daily/weekly coordination meetings with subcontractors and stakeholders.
· Prepare and submit daily progress reports and site activity logs.
· Monitor material deliveries and inventory to prevent shortages or delays.
· Ensure efficient use of labor, tools, and equipment.
· Verify that all materials used are per project specifications.
