Beirut Naval Base Project Achieves 150,000 LTI-Free Hours
Aug-03, 2026
A significant safety milestone has been reached at the Beirut Naval Base project, where the team has completed 150,000 working hours without a Lost Time Incident.
Achieving this record within an active naval environment reflects disciplined planning, continuous hazard identification, regular inspections, toolbox talks, and close coordination among project leadership, safety personnel, employees, and subcontractors.
At MVL, safety is not measured only by statistics. It is reflected in every plan, every decision, and every team member’s willingness to identify concerns, speak up, and stop work when conditions are unsafe.
This achievement belongs to every person who followed the correct procedures, remained alert, looked out for colleagues, and helped maintain a safe working environment.
While 150,000 LTI-free hours is a milestone worth recognizing, it is never a reason to become complacent. The goal remains unchanged: everyone goes home safely, every day.
