MVL Breaks Ground on Kwajalein Air Traffic Control Tower $80 Million Project

Ground has officially been broken on the Kwajalein Air Traffic Control Tower project, marking the beginning of active construction activities.

An air traffic control tower is a highly specialized facility supporting the safe and coordinated movement of aircraft. Its construction requires the integration of structural works, technical spaces, building systems, communications infrastructure, and operational requirements.

Delivering the facility in Kwajalein adds another level of complexity. Construction materials and equipment must be transported over considerable distances, shipping schedules planned well in advance, and activities coordinated within a remote and active operating environment.

The project will require close collaboration across design, engineering, procurement, logistics, construction, safety, quality control, and client coordination.

The groundbreaking follows extensive preconstruction planning and represents another important step in MVL’s delivery of critical infrastructure across remote locations.
